Some Australian snakes are not venomous and most times snakes will avoid any contact with humans. Different species of snakes can be difficult to tell apart even for an experinced handler. Most people who get bitten by snakes do so trying to either catch the snake or trying to kill it.
Simple Rule: Leave the snake alone - it will leave you alone!
You must never handle a snake unless you have proper training and experience.
