A group of non venomous constricting snakes. Australia is home to more than half of the world’s python species. Pythons can eat very large prey items due to thier loosely articulated skull bones.

 

Australia’s pythons range from the Pygmy Python of WA (grows to only 610mm) to the Scrub Python of QLD (exceeds 5M).
